Artist at Auburn Public Theater
This is the second piece I have done for Auburn Public Theater! It is their company logo on the studio window in gallery glass!
I have recently had the pleasure of working with Auburn Public Theater painting their logo in their main studio. I am extremely happy to continue working with them! Check back for more exciting news!
Wells College - Center for Business and Entrepreneurship
2014- I enjoyed working with Wells Business Faculty to create this sign on the wall. This can be seen in the Macmillan building and indicates where the Business and Entrepreneurship offices are currently located. These offices will be relocated over the summer to Zabrinksy Hall after renovations have been completed.
President of the Genesee Parent Teacher Partnership
As President I have put together a monthly movie night which promotes family involvement at the school and provides a safe place for the kids to be on a Friday night. I also organized and ran the monthly meeting. Through fundraising the partnership provides funds for classrooms, equipment, and school trips that would otherwise not be available as well paying for regular bus transportation for our bused students. This is a volunteer position. 2013-2014
Art Project Manager at Seymour Library
I taught seasonal appropriate Pinterest-inspired art to adults in the community. This is a volunteer position. 2012-2013
President of Cayuga Community College Art Club
As President of the Cayuga Community Art Club I worked with elders at The Home bringing art into their lives. As well as helping to design and execute the 20 foot wall mural on CCC campus. 2013
World Book Night 2013 and 2014
I distributed free copies of The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Jester to the local elementary schools in 2013 and Zora and Me by Victoria Bond was the book I was given to distribute for 2014. The goal was to target strangers who are light readers or don't enjoy reading at all. By participating in this event I hope I was able to bring the love of reading to others!
Phi Theta Kappa
As a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society I have helped organize and execute the Fall 2012 Baby Easton/Locks of Love event to raise awareness about Epidermolysis Bullosa and medical funds for Baby Easton's family along with donating ponytails to Locks of Love.
The butterfly to the left I designed to be used as a giant signature postcard and a children's coloring page for the Baby Easton event. Epidermolysis Bullosa is also called the butterfly disease due to the shape the blisters make when they break.
I also participated in trash clean up for Earth Day, helped out at the local food pantry as well as bottle and can drives. 2012-2013
